In a huge setback for Ryan International, the Haryana government has decided to take over the school for the period of three months on Friday.

Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has also recommended for a CBI probe in the alleged murder of the 7-year-old student inside the school premises.

Reacting to the news, victim's father Barun Thakur said, “glad that the sensitivity this case deserved has been shown.”

The latest development comes at a time when the school founders are trying to get an anticipatory bail in the case.

On Thursday, the Bombay High Court had rejected the bail plea of Augustine Pinto, his wife Grace and his son Ryan in the murder case of class II student.

The court had also told the Pintos to submit their passports to the police.

The 7-year-old was found with his throat slit in the toilet of the school on September 8.

Barun Thakur, the victim's father had dropped him off at around 7:30 am. Around 8:10 am, the parents got the call that their son was 'badly' injured. They rushed to the Armtice Hospital where they were told that their son had died.

Initially, the Gurugram Police had said that the bus conductor, who is also the prime accused had murdered the child after an attempted sexual assault.

However, the post-mortem report had clearly said that the boy died of excessive bleeding and there were no signs of any sexual abuse.

Ashok Kumar, the 42-year-old bus conductor, who was arrested for the child's murder is currently lodged in Bhondsi Jail.

His wife claims that he has been forced to make a confession. "He is innocent and in future, he would just say the truth," she claimed after meeting Ashok in the jail.
