Gujarat Elections 2017: PM Modi, BJP women talk using NaMo app

Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his dialogue with around 7,500 women workers of BJP through NaMo app on Friday motivated them to mobilise women to vote for BJP in polls.

In his one-hour interaction, Modi said, "BJP government in Gujarat has given the assurance of safety, happiness, peace and prosperity to women. Women's contribution to society is immense and that is why it is the responsibility of women workers of Gujarat BJP to see that women voters record a huge voting turnout in comparison with male voters."

The PM also appreciated the contribution of women workers of BJP and said, "The contribution that BJP's women workers have made to strengthen the party organisation in Gujarat is significant. They have been giving their best along with looking after domestic course."

He added, "I remember their effort to mobilise the women voters by making Mehndi in Lotus pattern on palms of women of Gujarat. They had approached women voters in door-to-door campaign."
