India should condemn the terrorist attacks on the Christian minorities by ISIS and other such organisations and deplore such incidents very strongly, a Congress member demanded in Lok Sabha on Monday.
Raising the issue during Zero Hour, K Suresh drew the attention of the Government to the sad plight of the Christian minorities living in Egypt, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Libya and African countries like Nigeria.
It is reported that in the last four years, more than two lakh people have been killed by Islamic terror groups, he said, adding that ISIS militants have launched a wave of attacks on a series of Christian villages in Syria, burning down churches and taking hundreds of them as hostages.
