Girl raped on pretext of marriage in Jaipur, 14-year-old boy sodomized

An 18-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a laborer on the pretext of marriage for the last four years in JP colony here, police said today.

The accused, 22-year-old Kunal Godiwal, who resided near the girl's house, was in a relationship with her and promised to marry her, but later refused to do so, they said. The victim was allegedly raped by the accused since last four to five years at her home when her parents were away, police said.

The girl had moved the local court with her complaint following which the court yesterday directed the Vidhyadhar Nagar police station to lodge an FIR against the accused.

"The case would be taken up and the accused would be interrogated besides sending the girl for medical examination," Station House Officer (SHO), Vidhyadhar Nagar Police, Rajveer Singh told PTI. 

In a separate incident, a 14-year-old boy was allegedly sodomized by three persons, police said on Tuesday.

The minor's mother had lodged an FIR against three persons, including her son-in-law Mahesh, for allegedly sodomizing her son. The accused, Mahesh, Mukesh and Bharat have been charged under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, police said adding a probe into the matter is on.
