A telephone helpline 'Childline' today freed a 10-year-old girl child labourer from a government officer's residence with the help of the local police.
Official sources said that the child labourer named Kiran was confined in the house of a Madhya Pradesh Beej Nigam officer Gajanand Jaat for the last 20 days, in Lambodri area.
Kiran belongs to a village near Bhopal, police said, adding that Jaat had allegedly forced the girl to work at his house.
