GATE 2019: Exam schedule announced by IIT Madras, check details here

The exams will be held on four dates in the month of February in 2019.

GATE 2019, the national level entrance examination for admission into postgraduate engineering courses, will be held over the period of two weekends in February. IIT Madras, the organising body of this year's coveted exam, announced the date of exam on official website http://gate.iitm.ac.in on Tuesday. 

The exams will be held on four dates in the month of February in 2019. There will be two sessions each day. The admit cards for the exams will be made available on the online portal from January 4, 2019.

Here is the complete schedule of the examinations: 

February 2, 2019 (Saturday) - Forenoon Session (9:30 am - 12.30 pm): CY, ME-1, MN
February 2, 2019 (Saturday) - (Afternoon Session (2:30 pm - 5.30 pm): ME-2, XE, XL, TF
February 3, 2019 (Saturday) - Forenoon Session (9:30 am - 12.30 pm): CS, CH 
February 3, 2019 (Saturday) - (Afternoon Session (2:30 pm - 5.30 pm): AE, AG, AR, BT, EY, GG, IN, MA, MT, PE, PH, PI, ST
February 9, 2019 (Saturday) - Forenoon Session (9:30 am - 12.30 pm): EC
February 9, 2019 (Saturday) - (Afternoon Session (2:30 pm - 5.30 pm): EE
February 10, 2019 (Saturday) - Forenoon Session (9:30 am - 12.30 pm): CE-1
February 10, 2019 (Saturday) - (Afternoon Session (2:30 pm - 5.30 pm): CE-2

Results of GATE 2019 will be announced on March 16, 2019. 

Meanwhile, a new paper - Statistics (ST) added in GATE 2019 examinations.

Earlier, a list of candidates whose application has been rejected was released by the GATE 2019 organising body i.e. IIT Madras. The list was uploaded on the website after they did not meet the eligibility criteria specified by the organising body. 

A separate list of candidates whose applications were rejected due to duplication was also released.
