In a study conducted by WHO, New Delhi was ranked as the city with the most polluted air among the list of cities studied. Thus, to provide natural air to the country, a start-up called Vitality Air, from Alberta, plans to sell canned natural air from the Canadian Rockies to Indians from May.

According to a report in Hindustan Timesthe Canadian company would price each breath of fresh air at Rs 12.50. The company which catered to China in 2015 amidst high smog levels, became famous around that time.

Moses Lam, founder of the company said, "It started as a novelty back in the summer last year. There were forest fires in Calgary and with all the smoke, people started using our product."

Now, that India is facing a similar problem, Vancouver-based Justin Dhaliwal, has been appointed to look at operations in India. While the first set of products have already arrived in the country, the sample would be sent to the Canadian high commission in New Delhi soon.

The company would be packing air in 3-litre and 8-litre cans, and the twin-packs would be available amidst the range of Rs 1,450 and Rs 2,800. Lam seemed hopeful that the product would do great in China because he believed, "The pollution in India is more than in China, we expect it to be our largest market."
