Four militants arrested in Manipur

Four militants of Kangleipak Communist Party (kcp) were arrested during a massive combing operation in interior village in Imphal east district of Manipur, police said today.

Following reports of movement of ultras, personnel of 16th assam rifles battalional launched a search operation at Lamboi Khul area yesterday and arrested the four militants They were involved in the recruitment of youths in the outfit and have been handed over to the police.

More than 50 militants have so far been arrested by central para military and police this year in Manipur.
