Former Bigg Boss contestant Ajaz Khan arrested for sending lewd messages to model

The Mumbai police on wee hours of Sunday arrested former Bigg Boss contestant Ajaz Khan for allegedly sending lewd messages and explicit pictures to a 25-year-old model on Whatsapp.

The model Aishwarya Choubey in June this year had approached Versova police to register the complaint against Khan as she submitted the Whatsapp chat which contained sexually intimating conversation. The model alleged that Khan also invited her to a hotel in Juhu and sent an objectionable picture which she deleted later.

"We also added a section under Information Technology act apart from sections 509(word, gesture, act to outrage modesty of women), 504(intentional insult) of the Indian Penal Code", said a Malwani police official.

Khan had earlier denied the allegations made by the model as Mumbai police had asked him to be present at the police station. "We will produce him in the Borivali court and are investigating further", said the official.
