Follow rule of land or leave UP: Yogi Adityanath's ultimatum to anti-social elements

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday dared mafias and criminal either to leave the state or follow the law of the land.

Yogi assured that his government will control the crime ​situation ​within a month. “Criminals leave Uttar Pradesh or follow rule of the land. We will streamline law and order within a month by sending anti-socials behind bars,” declared ​Adityanath​.​

Speaking at a function in his hometown Gorakhour, ​Adityanath ​said that safety, security and self-respect of women is the top priority of his government and he would ensure that everyone gets justice under the BJP regime.

On second visit to his hometown after becoming Chief Minister, ​Adityanath​ laid foundation stone of projects worth Rs 261 crores in the district.

Reiterating “sabka saath sabka vikas”, the ​C​hief Minister announced re-opening of two and opening of three more ​s​ugar mills in Gorakhpur and Eastern UP. The Chief Minister announced that his government will launch many welfare schemes for farmers, youth, poor and minorities for an overall development of the state​.​

Opening a coaching centre in Gorakhpur for civil services aspirants, Yogi said that youth of the state was migrating to other states for education and jobs. “In next six months we will launch so many schemes that they
​wouldn't need to look at other states​. Instead students from other states will come running to Uttar Pradesh,” he claimed.

He reiterated power for all by October 2018 and said government’s efforts to make 24 hours power available at district headquarters, 20 hours at all tehsils and 18 hours in village have already started showing results. “Not a single village and household in Uttar Pradesh will remain powerless by 2018,” he promised.​
