12 fire tenders were rushed to the spot.

On the eve of Budget day, room no 50 of Parliament caught fire and 12 fire tenders were rushed to the spot.
According to reports, the fire has been doused now.
However, the reason for fire is not known yet and no casualties have been reported.

President Pranab Mukherjee flagged off the budget session of Parliament on Tuesday calling it "historic".
Last year, a fire had broken out due to short circuit on the second floor of the Parliament Annexe.
