Fierce encounter between security forces, militants underway in Jammu and Kashmir

A gun battle between the security forces and militants is currently underway in Sopore area of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to reports, the encounter broke out after Army's search team was fired upon by the terrorists.

Even on Wednesday, a gun battle between security forces and terrorists had resulted in the death of a top Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) militant, Abu Huzaifa. (ANI)
