Today is his birth anniversary. Mamata wished him birthday alongside tabla maestro Zakir Hussain and former Indian captain Azhar. Soon, Twitterati pointed out her mistake and didi was quick to delete it and tweeted a corrected birthday message.
Birthday greetings Zakir Hussain, Md Azharuddin. Birthday remembrance Jagjit Singh. And if it is also your birthday today, let me wish u too

However, it was too late as the screenshot of the earlier tweet has gone viral on social media.
