EC issues notification for third phase of five-phased Jammu and Kashmir elections

The Election Commission (EC) issued notification for 16 Assembly segments in the third phase of the five phased Legislative Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir.

The last date of filing of nomination papers for the third phase in all 16 constituencies spread over Baramulla, Budgam and Pulwama districts in Kashmir valley is November 21.

Polls in Kashmir will be held in five-phases, beginning on November 25 and ending on December 20.

The counting of votes will take place on December 23.
