In his second ever Dussehra celebrations in Delhi as Prime Minister, Narendra Modi took part in famed Red Fort event on Saturday.
President Ram Nath Kovind and Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu also attended the Dussehra celebration.
In his brief address to the crowd, PM Modi said that festivals are a way of social education and that even after thousand years, the stories of Lord Ram give new meaning to the society.
Later effigies of Ravan, Kumbhakarn and Meghnad were burnt at the historic ground.

Meanwhile, BJP President Amit Shah attended the Dussehra celebration at the Ramlila Maidan in Delhi, where actor John Abraham also attended the celebrations.
