Dry weather prevails in Bihar, Dehri hottest at 43.6 deg C

dry with Dehri-On-Sone in Rohtas district recording the

highest maximum temperature at 43.6 degrees Celsius in the

state today.

Among the major cities of the state, Gaya recorded the

highest maximum temperature at 43.1 deg C, followed by

Bhagalpur at 40.7 deg C, Patna at 39.6 deg C and Purnea at

36.0 deg C, a Met office bulletin said.

In its forecast, the Met office said Bhagalpur and

Purnea may witness a partly cloudy sky with possibility of

thunder or rain.
