Two brothers were bludgeoned to death with their throats slit in North Delhi's Mori Gate area late evening on Saturday.  A servant has been arrested in connection with the murder.

The two bodies were recovered from a building in Ram Bazar area, used by them for business purposes, after the family members could not contact them.

When the family members arrived at the building they found it locked. After raising an alarm as they broke the doors open, the two brothers, identified as Devender (60) and Rajkumar Manchanda (53), were found lying in a pool of blood.

Police said that the dead bodies were recovered from the second floor in one of the buildings of Dorawali Gali.

"The deceased have been identified as residents of Rohini. Bodies bear brutal injury marks. Suspect seems to be some insider as two out of the four servants working at the premises are missing. Bodies have been given for post mortem and a crime and forensics team was rushed to the spot to collect samples," said a senior police officer.

Police said that motive of murder is not clear yet and a possibility of robbery cannot be ruled out. A case of murder has been registered and a probe is underway.
