Tamil Nadu BJP President, Tamizhisai Soundararajan on Saturday charged the Chief Minister O Panneerselvam with doing nothing except issuing "tit for tat" statements.

The Chief Minister should use the forthcoming assembly session to discuss the problems of the people and find a solution to them, she said talking to reporters in Chennai. There are many problems affecting the state, including death of infants in Dharmapuri government hospital where "Specialists Doctors were not available" and problem of power cuts, she said.

The BJP would convene a meeting of the farmers and invite the Union Minister Uma Bharti for the same. She would also brief her as to how the state would be affected if the Karnataka government started building check dams across Cauvery, she said. Tamizhisai also charged the state government with not cooperating with the Centre to bring projects to the state.

She was confident that the party would enroll one crore members by 2016.
