Despite being served a blue corner notice Lalit Modi, the former Indian Premier League commissioner, seems to be having quite a time travelling to a number of countries, including China, Turkey, Cuba and Thailand, as suggested by his recent social media activity.

Recent photos uploaded by Modi on his Instagram feed showcase the lavish wedding of London-based industrialist couple Kimi and Pamela Grover's son Ashwin to socialite Riya Khilnani in Venice.

Among the other recent uploads includes Modi holding a book titled Cuba by Korda, posing for a photograph while cozily tucked in what appears to be a private jet. Interestingly, the book has the photograph of Marxist revolutionary Ernesto Che Guevara, a political figure whose ideology was supposed to be at odds with crony capitalism.

In other uploads, Modi is posing along with his family and friends after landing at the Havana airport. Another photograph showcases Modi along with his daughters in Italy and yet another one shows him attending his daughter's graduation ceremony.

A media report on Sunday landed the former IPL chief yet again in controversy after it revealed that Keith Vaz, the British MP of Indian origin, used external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj's name to pressure Britain's top immigration official to grant travel papers to Modi.

Given by the long list of Modi's visits, questions are being raised on the procedures employed while providing travel documents persons under criminal investigation.
