On different state models being debated around during elections, former RSS ideologue K N Govindacharya has said that while dialogue on development was good, but they will remain incomplete if issues like law and order and environmental condition were not made a part of it.

Talks of a Gujarat, Bihar or a Tamil Nadu development model during the Lok Sabha elections is good but this dialogue on growth will remain incomplete if social indicators like law and order and environmental conditions were not incorporated into it, Govindacharya told PTI.

Terming both Gujarat and Tamil Nadu as as rich coastal regions of the country, Govindacharya said that coastal regions benefit more out of economic liberalisation than internal ones.

Issues like land, water, livestock, biodiversity and blind exploitation of mineral resources should also be thought into, Govindacharya, chairman of the Save Democracy Front said.

Emphasising on cultural values and traditions, he also demanded that a separate ministry should be made for 'govikas'.

Agriculture and cows are complementary to each other and 'govigyan' (cow science) should be made a part of the education curriculum and 'kamdhenu universities' should be opened in all states, he said.
