Aam Aadmi Party leaders Satyender Jain and Manish Sisodia were discharged from a Delhi hospital  on Tuesday itself after the duo went on an indefinite strike late last week, reports say.

Medical Superintendent of the LNJP Hospital J C Passey said, "Both the ministers were discharged around 10 am. Their health parameters, including ketone level in urine are normal now."

Delhi Deputy CM Sisodia had earlier tweeted about his health. "With Doctor's care and your blessings, I am recovering fast. Yesterday, my ketone level was 7.4 & BP reached 184/100, which was leading  to renal failure. But now everything is under control.  If doctors allow I'll try to be back to work today only. (sic)".

On Monday, both Jain and Sisodia were shifted to the Lok Nayak Hospital on Monday after their health deteriorated during their sit-in protest at Lieutenant Governor (L-G) Anil Baijal's house. The protest entered the eighth day on Monday.

The ministers accompanied by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Gopal Rai have been on a dharna at Baijal's house since last Monday protesting against the "illegal strike" carried out by the IAS officers in the national Capital. The Ketone level of Sisodia reached 7.4. Ketone level of 2+ is considered to be dangerous.

On Saturday, a team of doctors had examined Sisodia and Jain. While Jain went on an indefinite hunger strike at the LG's office on Tuesday, Sisodia had been on a hunger strike since Wednesday. According to a doctor, his blood sugar level on Sunday was 49 units (mg/dL) while the ketone level was found to be "large". However, his blood pressure reading was 120/82.

JC Passey, medical superintendent of the Lok Nayak hospital, said that Jain was shifted at 11.50 pm on Sunday after he complained of a headache, nausea, abdomen pain, respiratory difficulties and urine retention. Passey said he is not taking food orally and is being given glucose, electrolytes, and medication for symptomatic relief intravenously.
