Dhar woman raped in the Indore by three persons

Taking advantage of a lonely woman who had arrived here from Dhar to meet a contractor, three youths raped her after confining in a room of a hostel in Sanyogitaganj area. All the accused were arrested.

The rape was committed on August 14 when the woman after arriving here was waiting at Mhow Naka Square to get some conveyance.

Around 10 pm, a youth stopped his auto-rickshaw and approached her. He asked where she wants to go.  The woman told him that she was waiting for a contractor Radheshyam and he would take her to the site for work but failed to tell the place.

She also provided a mobile phone number to the auto rickshaw driver requesting him to call on the same number that belongs to contractor. But the youth instead of calling told her that the call was not completed.

He asked the woman that it was too late so she should accompany him to his house in a hostel where he stays with his wife and kids, police said.

Trusting him, the woman accompanied him and he took her to Krishna Hostel at Naulakha Square where he confined the woman in a room and raped her, they added.

The accused also called his two accomplices over cell phone and they also raped the woman.

The woman freed herself on pretext of relieving herself and escaped from the hostel and apprised a woman fruit seller about the case.

She filed a complaint at Sanyogitaganj police station on Thursday.

Police arrested all the three accused identified as Rohit, Vickey and Vikrant and registered a case of gang rape and holding the victim hostage.
