Claiming that development "flows" in Bihar, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today said his government created job opportunities for Dalits and Maha-Dalits in mills and factories and reined in corruption.

"Bihar mein vikas ki Ganga beheti hei (development is flowing). After bifurcation of the state, we shaped Bihar into a developed state," Kumar said at Simeria under Chatra Lok Sabha constituency.

"We have created job opportunities for dalits and Maha-dalits in mills and factories," said Kumar, while soliciting votes for his Janata Dal (U) candidate Mahesh Singh Yadav.

Attacking BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, Kumar said, "Narendra Modi dreams while we live in reality."

Speaking on corruption in his brief speech, Kumar said his government had reined in the menace and hauled up about 150 officials on corruption charges.
