As the cold wave continues to intensify across Northern India, train services on Wednesday have been hampered due to operational reasons, thus disrupting normal routine, reports ANI.
A dense layer of fog engulfed Delhi, Noida, and Gurgaon on Wednesday morning. The visibility dropped to below 50 metres affecting train and flight services.

As per the Chief Public Relations Officer of the Northern Railway, 21 trains have been delayed, 13 cancelled and four rescheduled. Flights services have also been affected due to poor visibility.
The Meteorological Department has predicted a maximum temperature of 25 degree Celsius with lows of eight degrees.
The Air Quality continued to be poor in several places across the national capital. The Air Quality Index at Delhi's Terminal 3 airport was recorded to be 201 micrograms of PM 2.5 and 220 micrograms of PM 10.

On Tuesday, Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of 25.5 degrees Celsius, six notches above the season's average.
