"Our children were playing here and suddenly they found two sacks filled with torn notes. Immediately, we informed the police. The notes are not just hand torn but have been torn by sharp objects like scissors," said an eyewitness.
Later, they informed the police. Police have recovered all the notes and sent for examination. Meanwhile, they are trying to find out the genuineness of the notes. They are also trying to examine the CCTV footages of the area to find out who dumped the two sacks.
Sources in the police reveal that the recovered notes are worth Rs.2-3 crores.
However, eyewitnesses claim that the recovered notes are original.
