Delhi protests: Court questions police action

The Delhi High Court on Wednesday questioned the Delhi Police on imposing Section 144 at Rajpath.

The court was hearing a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) against the police action taken against protestors who were enraged after the gang-rape of a young girl in the city..

Section 144 prohibits the gathering of more that 4 people in one place.

No order has been passed on the Public Interest Litigation.
