Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday said he was thankful to Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) chief ministerial candidate for Delhi, Kiran Bedi for leaving his family out of the latest advertisement targeting him.

"I am grateful to Kiran Bedi ji for sparing my family and kids out of BJP's ads today," Kejriwal tweeted.

Bedi, meanwhile, refused to comment on the AAP leader's tweets saying, "I am going for rally now, ask me about my work."

Earlier on Saturday, the BJP had put up a newspaper advertisement targeting the Aam Aadmi Party and its chief.

The ad portrays anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare as a dead man, with a cartoon of Kejriwal. The cartoon mocked Kejriwal for falsely swearing on his children that he would never join hands with the Congress.

This act by the BJP was criticized by various political parties. However, the party itself has remained silent on the matter.
