Delhi: Man shot at near Chattarpur Metro station, hospitalised

The caretaker of metro feeder bus in Chattarpur area was allegedly shot at the parking area of Chattarpur metro station, Police said on Saturday. The 28-year-old victim Sikander, is now recuperating at a city hospital in Delhi after the bullet injury.

Police is on the lookout for the accused identified as one Rafiq and has registered a case against him. Sikander had an altercation with Rafiq over money matters on Friday at 10 pm following which he was allegedly shot at by Rafiq who immediately fled the spot, police said.

Passersby rushed Sikander to a nearby hospital. During investigation, it was learnt that Rafiq and Sikandar had known each other for long and had a personal rivalry, police said.
