BJP President Amit Shah addressed a rally at Vishwas Nagar in Delhi on Saturday in the run up to the upcoming Delhi Elections, making a series of attacks on AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal as well as the Congress.

Stepping up the offensive on Arvind Kejriwal, Amit Shah said that the Aam Aadmi chief never follows through on his promises. He said that the party had joined hands with the Congress despite vowing not to do so initially.

"Kejriwal had also said that he will file an FIR against former Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit within 3 days of coming to power. Where is that FIR?" he asked.

They used to roam in WagonR cars before taking over the government in 2013, but now they travel only in SUVs, he charged. "If they are given five years of governance, they will park airplanes outside their houses."

Shah also targeted the Congress saying that in the 10 years that the party was in power, there were 40 scams totaling Rs 12 lakh crore.

For sustained and good governance in Delhi, a structured and disciplined party is required, he said, urging voters to support the BJP.
