Delhi CM Kejriwal pays tribute to Bhagat Singh, Vithal Bhai Patel

Kejriwal, who also inaugurated an exhibition of rare photographs of revolutionaries of Indian freedom struggle said his government was trying to implement policies and programmes meant for the welfare of the people with "full honesty and dedication".

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday paid tribute to revolutionary Bhagat Singh and freedom fighter Vithal Bhai Patel on their birth anniversaries and said his government was working to ensure a corruption free system as envisaged by them.

Patel was the first Speaker of Central Legislative Assembly (Now Lok Sabha).

Speaking on the occasion, Kejriwal said the great revolutionaries, who dedicated their entire lives towards freedom struggle, wanted that the people should be provided with a corruption free system.

Kejriwal, who also inaugurated an exhibition of rare photographs of revolutionaries of Indian freedom struggle said his government was trying to implement policies and programmes meant for the welfare of the people with "full honesty and dedication".

The chief minister also assured the people that his government is honestly working to provide them with honest, corruption free and good administration.

Supporting the suggestion of transport minister Gopal Rai to erect a memorial in the capital in honour of the revolutionary and freedom fighters, Goel said he will take up the matter with the concerned authorities.
