Delhi: Class 9 student sexually assaulted by 4 classmates for one year in Uttam Nagar, three accused apprehended

The incident came to light on Monday, when the class IX student refused to go to school.

In a shocking incident in Delhi, a minor boy was sexually assaulted by his classmates and this ordeal continued for more than one year. The incident that came to light when the boy refused to go to the school on Monday. 

Police said a class 9 student of a government school in Delhi's Uttam Nagar area was being sexually assaulted by four classmates for past one year. 

The incident came to light on Monday, when the class IX student refused to go to school. Initially the student tried to hide the matter and told his family that the teacher had asked him to stay at home for about two weeks. However, when the family prodded him further, he narrated the entire ordeal to his parents, alleging repeated sexual assault by a group of students for the past one year.

An FIR has been registered in this regard and three of the accused have been apprehended while one has fled away.

In another case, a 10-year-old boy was allegedly sodomised by two juveniles in city's Shahbad area on January 21.
According to police, the incident took place when the victim was taken to a park by the two juveniles, who also resided in the same area, on the pretext of playing with him.
The duo then sodomised the boy and threatened him not to reveal anything.

Police said later, the boy narrated the ordeal to his parents, following which a case was registered and the two accused were apprehended.
