Delhi-boy Chetan Kakkar gets a Rs 1.27 crore placement offer from Google

Tech giant Google has offered a whopping $1,90000(Rs 1.27 crore) to Chetan Kakkar, hailing from Delhi. 

Son of Delhi University teachers, Chetan Kakkar is an alumnus of Springdales, Pusa Road.

He is a final year student of Delhi Technological University (DTU) in the  Information Technology department. 

According to media reports, Kakkar was visibly excited after receiving this lucrative offer. He will be joining Google next year after completing his course. He has set a new record in DTU as the highest offer made so far was Rs 93 lakh. 

"This was what I had been striving so far and I am excited to join Google," said Kakkar to a leading English daily.
