Former Maharashtra Revenue Minister Eknath Khadse reportedly made no calls to gangster Dawood Ibrahim, the Anti-Terror Squad (ATS) has concluded, according to a report in NDTV.

Quoting sources NDTV said that the ATS may file a case against Manish Bangale, who alleged that Khadse and Dawood had exchanged calls. The ATS has reportedly given a month's deadline to Bangale to explain his allegations.

"The Anti-Terrorism Squad (which probed the allegation) has received all the call data records... so far nothing significant has come out of the investigations into these call data records," an official told PTI last week.

Khadse has consistently denied the allegation saying that the mobile number concerned was not even in operation for the past one year.

Earlier this month, Khadse had tendered resignation from his position when he found himself embroiled in two controversies -- a land row and the Dawood call charges.
