Dalit woman raped in Uttar Pradesh

 A Dalit woman was allegedly raped and beaten up by a youth in Amethi, police said on Monday.

A 20-year-old Dalit woman was raped and assaulted by Kush Singh on Monday while she had gone to relieve herself at Adhanpur village under Musafirkhana police station area, Rajesh Singh, station Incharge said. An FIR has been registered in the case, police said, adding that efforts are on to nab the accused who is absconding.
