'Daawat-E-Ishq' team of Parineeti Chopra and Aditya Roy Kapur skip Vadodara trip due to rains

Actors Parineeti Chopra and Aditya Roy Kapur, who are on a multi-state food trail to promote their culinary romance 'Daawat-E-Ishq', skipped their trip to Vadodara due to rains.

The duo flagged off the 'food tour' on Friday morning. The actors were to visit Surat and then proceed to Vadodara but the weather played spoilsport.

"Vadodara was very much on our itinerary and we were excited to visit the city while the administration promised full support, we felt it will be a lot of pressure on them while they are tackling natural calamities," Aditya said.

The two stars will now stop in Surat and then go directly to Ahmedabad. Directed by Habib Faisal and produced by Yash Raj Films, the film releases next week.
