Cylinder blast in Jhabua: MP Government orders probe

The Madhya Pradesh Government has ordered an investigation into the gas explosion, which took place at a restaurant in Jhabua district early this morning.

Talking to the media, Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Babu Lal Gaur said that a probe has been ordered into the incident. "The announcement of financial assistance will be made once the investigation is complete," he said.

At least 35 people were feared dead and as many injured when a cooking gas cylinder exploded at a restaurant in Jhabua district early Saturday morning. The explosion, which reportedly took place at around 8: 30 am, has caused damages to a number of adjacent buildings.
