While where exactly Rahul is has been a topic of hot speculation, in a bizarre twist cops visited Congress office to ask for details of Rahul's physical appearance.
According to a report published in a leading daily, a team of Delhi police visited Congress office last week. They enquired about his physical features, which have not gone well down with the party leaders. The newspaper quotes party sources as saying that cops enquired about colour of Congress VP's colour of hair and eye.
Delhi Police however have played down the incident, labelling it part of routine procedure to review VVIP security. Apparently they visited other bungalows in the locality too.
The newspaper quoted a senior member saying, "If at all there was need to know his features or get his photograph, he is an MP, it can be had from the internet or a website. All his records are also available in Parliament".
Congress sources are deeming it as an unnecessary interrogation and 'intrusion'. Rahul's manager reportedly managed to get a snap of the policemen who came for the interrogation, They are likely to bring the matter up with police commissioner BS Bassi. Bassi may come out with a detailed statement today to douse the raging controversy.
The matter however is unlikely to be sorted anytime soon as Congress has attacked the Modi government for it. Congress has asked for statement from PM and Home Minister about why Rahul was snooped. BJP however has rejected Congress's demand calling it 'non-issue'.
