The Congress has prepared an elaborate charge sheet to expose four years of the Modi government on May 26.

The Congress has already announced that it would be observing May 26 as Vishwasghaat Diwas (Betrayal Day) and expose PM Modi's 'lies'.

Party sources said, the charge sheet will pick on Modi government for betraying the people on various counts like unemployment, hike in fuel prices, failed Pakistan and foreign policy, economic downturn, agrarian distress, increase in violence against SC, ST, minorities and women, increase in corruption and failure to bring back black money.

The Congress is likely to launch a booklet with facts and data to back its claim of massive mis-governance by the Modi government and the BJP-ruled states.

In addition to this, the Congress on Friday launched a 2.49-minute-long video. 'Four failed years of Modi government — The sheen is off the Modi Government'.

"The video was prepared by taking live bytes of common people from the streets. We ourselves were surprised to see that none of the people who were interviewed extempore had any good words for the Modi government," claimed a Congress leader attached with the media department.

Congress president Rahul Gandhi is expected to be a part of the agitation that Congress men would be undertaking at the district level in all the states.

Releasing the protest poster 'India Betrayed' on Wednesday, Congress general secretary in-charge of organisation, Ashok Gehlot had said the PCC presidents and general secretary in-charge of all the states would be doing programmes to expose the Modi government on every count of promises it made and what it delivered.

"Prime Minister Modi has betrayed every section of the society be it giving 1.5 times of the MSP to the farmers or 2 crore jobs to the youth every year. The common man is reeling under unprecedented hike in fuel prices. SC/ STs, minorities are feeling unsafe everywhere. The Congress will expose Modi government on all these issues by holding dharnas and rallies across the nation," said Gehlot exuding confidence after Karnataka government formation.
