A case was registered against Chandna last night, and later transferred to CID Crime branch for investigation. Chandna and eight other MLAs were suspended yesterday for indiscipline and disrupting the House proceedings while raising the issue of lathicharge on Youth Congress workers during an agitation near the Assembly building in Jaipur.

PCC president Sachin Pilot and Chandna also received injuries in the protest against deteriorating law and order situation, hike in power tariff and other issues. After the incident, Chandna reached the House and along with one Independent, eight other Congress MLAs raised the issue but the Speaker did not allow them.
