Promising to take Delhi to new heights of development, Prime Minister Narendra Modi promised Delhi an option of choosing their power service provider on the lines of mobile number portability. He even pledged to make Delhi slum-free by 2022. He promised to usher in a corruption-free system, saying it has been started at the top and gradually it will reach down to colonies.

But, countering these promises, Dr Abhishek Manu Singhvi tweeted saying Modi government has only made promises for future. He also attacked the Aam Aadmi Party calling it a "failed experiment".

Singhvi, while attributing PM Modi as a 'powerful orator' said 75% of the Jan Dhan Yojna accounts opened by the NDA government are empty.

He said no one can overlook the kind of development made during the 15 years of Congress rule.

PM Modi kick started the party's poll campaigning in Delhi on Saturday for the upcoming assembly elections. He singled out 'anarchist' AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal for attack and asked voters to punish him for "wasting" one year.
