Chanakya National Law University, will be releasing the Common Law admission test (CLAT) admit cards for UG and PG programmes today (Thursday). Candidates, who will be appearing for the Common Law Admission Test 2017​ can download their admit cards from the official website of CLAT - clat.ac.in.

The online examination will be conducted across the country on May 14 from 3 PM-5 PM.

The admit card will not be personally sent to the students. They need to carry it along with a proof of identity such as Aadhaar, licence, pan-card, passport etc.

Here's how you can download your admit card: 

1) Visit the official website of CLAT - clat.ac.in
2) The homepage will be displayed.
3) Click on ​‘CLAT 2017 Admit Card’, the link will be activated on the official website as soon as the admit cards are released.
4) You will be directed to a new page.
5) On the activated link, provide your details and press submit.
6) Download/ Take a printout for further reference.

Check all the details on your admit card. You will not be allowed to appear for the examination without admit card. Also, candidates need to carefully read and abide by the rules mentioned in the card.

About the Common Law Admission Test:

The Common Law Admission Test is taken for admission in top National law Universities (NLUs) like NLU Bengaluru, NLU Kolkata, NLU Jodhpur, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University etc.

The test for UG programme will have 200 multiple-choice questions for one mark each. The PG programme, on the other hand,will have 150 multiple-choice questions carrying one mark each.  There is a negative marking system and 0.25 for each wrong answer will be deducted.

The results will come out on May 29.
