Common Entrance Test counselling: 15 reserved seats yet to be filled

The admission process in Devi Ahilya Vishwa Vidyalaya (DAVV) through Common Entrance Test (CET) finally came to a close as the last round of CET counselling concluded on Thursday.

While majority of seats particularly of the unreserved category were filled up by the end of the third counselling round, around 15 seats in reserved category in management courses could not be filled up.

"All seats in unreserved category have been filled but a few seats, approximately 10-15 seats in reserved category are still lying vacant," said DAVV public information officer M S Parmar.

Parmar said that no further round of counselling will be held for filling the remaining seats and CET admissions are officially closed now. The school of computer science department will hold the counselling round for admission in MBA on August 10.

Total 1785 seats of eight departments of DAVV were to be filled up through CET this year of which 1700 seats were filled up by the end of the second round.

CET was conducted to enroll students in eight departments of the university including- Institute of Management Studies (IMS), International Institute of Professional Studies (IIPS), Electronic Media Research Centre (EMRC), School of Economics, School of Commerce, School of Law, School of Journalism, and School of Pharmacy.
