A few days ago, batting genius Sachin Tendulkar accepted PM Narendra Modi's invitation to join the Swachh Bharat (Clean India) campaign.
Sachin Tendulkar subsequently undertook sweeping a road in Mumbai, saying, "I have been entrusted the leadership role of 'Swachh Bharat' campaign by Shri Narendra Modi. So, I am here along with my team and will clean this area,".
On Thursday, Sachin Tendulkar's official Facebook posted the video of him working on the streets to clean them along with some volunteers, and put out an explanation.
The post was extremely well received with several people praising Tendulkar and PM Narendra Modi simultaneously. Tendulkar, who is known to be reticent about undertaking social causes openly, seems to have embraced the PM's Clean India campaign wholeheartedly.
Tendulkar also posted the link of the video and post on Twitter:

Furthermore, Tendulkar invited a number of public figures to take part in the campaign:

A number of celebrities, including Aamir Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Kamal Hassan, Preity Zinta and Reliance Group chairman Anil Ambani have already taken up Modi's Clean India challenge or come out in support of it.
