Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday said that while US President Barrack Obama has realised the power of the Indian youth, the BJP's prime ministerial candidate, Narendra Modi, is yet to uinderstand their impact on all facets of society.

"Obama says he feels threatened by the power of Indian youth, but the "Chowkidaar of Gujarat", says you the youth of India are useless and powerless. The US president realizes your power, this chowkidaar does not realize it," Gandhi said at his rally in Mirzapur.

He asked: "For 25 years, Congress has not had a government in Uttar Pradesh, but what have you got in last 25 years?"

Lampooning the BJP, the Shiv Sena and the MNS, Gandhi also asked, "When you go to Maharashtra, who assaults you? It is the Shiv Sena, the BJP and the MNS, and, when they come here, they talk about development."
