Chikki scam: Rashtriya Samaj Party bats for Pankaja Munde

The Rashtriya Samaj Party (RSP) president Mahadev Jankar has decided to stage demonstrations at various places throughout the state in support of Pankaja Munde. The demonstrations in Mumbai would be held at Chembur and Sanjay Gandhi National Park between 11am and 12noon.

Alleging that it was a few government employees who were instrumental in designing the conspiracy against Munde, RSP spoksperson Deepak Bidkar has said that the party would support Munde in the hour of crisis. He informed that on June29, RSP workers would stage a protest supporting Munde.

Jankar is known for his loyalty to late Gopinath Munde. It was after the insistence of late Munde that Jankar was given a ticket to contest from Baramati Lok Sabha constituency and it was after insistence of Pankaja that Jankar was made an MLC. Now, it is Jankar's turn to pay by exhibiting his loyalty.
