While the RSS wants to boycott Chinese goods, it has another trick up its sleeve to shift the  balance in the current Indo-China impasse at Doklam.  While the Sangh has advocated a policy of economic boycott by asking Indians not to buy Chinese goods, now the RSS wants Indians, irrespective of their religion, to chant a mantra before their prayers.

RSS pracharak and national executive Indresh Kumar told Mail Today: "Kailash, Himalaya aur Tibet Cheen ki asuri shakti se mukt ho" (Kailash, Himalaya and Tibet be delivered from the demonic clutches of China). This is the mantra or 'sankalp', translated into 'resolve', that the RSS wants every Indian to chant five times before starting their prayers. This will not just hurt the core interest of China, but also infuse spiritual energy in the efforts and will create positive action."

He said: "China has adopted a fundamentally imperialist and expansionist character. It has moved away from Confucianism and has become a votary of violence. The recent entanglement with India has brought India several friends and China has lost many. They have shown that they are neither with India nor the world; rather want to continue the politics of violence. They have captured the territory of several countries such as India, Nepal, Bhutan, apart from having captured Tibet. Doklam was saved from their clutches only as Indian and Bhutanese soldiers pre-empted Chinese design."

Kumar also encouraged every Indian to resolve to use Indian goods and to reject Chinese manufacturers of all kinds.

Chinese and Indian soldiers have been locked in a face- off in Doklam area near Sikkim for over a month after Indian troops stopped the Chinese army from building a road, fearing it may allow China to cut India's access to its northeastern states.

India has conveyed to China that the construction of the road would represent a significant change of status quo with serious security implications for New Delhi. India and China share a 220-km-long border in Sikkim.
