Check www.gate.iisc.ernet.in for GATE 2016 exam results

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2016 results were declared on Friday. 

The results were earlier scheduled to be declared on March 19 by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. However, the results were announced on March 18. 

The GATE exam 2016 was held on January 30, January 31, February 6 and February 7 earlier this year. 

The GATE exam 2016 was conducted bt IISc, Bangalore. 818,850 students appeared the exam this year. Last year, 8,04,463 students had appeared for the exam. 

The candidates can follow these steps to access their results.

(i) Log on to the website mentioned below
(ii) Enter your roll number and your date of birth. 
(iii) Click on submit
(iv) Candidates can take a print out of their scorecard. 

Candidates can log onto www.gate.iisc.ernet.in and check their result. Students can also find their results on IISc official website.
