Check pseb.ac.in for PSEB 12th HSC Results 2018: Punjab Board PSEB 10+2 Exam Result to be declared on April 28

If reports are to be believed then Punjab Education School Board will announce the Class XII results on April 28. The examinations for Class 10 were held between March 12 to March 31 and that of Class 12 were between on February 28 to March 24.

The announcements for Class 10 and 12 were delayed this year because of re-examinations.

The announcement of results of PSEB Class 10 and Class 12 exams have been delayed this year. This is because the board conducted re-test of a few subjects. The re-examinations were scheduled to be conducted from April 17 to April 20.

 

Here are the steps to check Punjab Board 12th Class Result 2018

1. Visit pseb.ac.in to access your results

2. Enter your roll number, Name in the specified fields

3. Select your stream from the given dropdown

4. Enter your mobile number and email id in the given fields

5. Click on Submit

6. Take a print out of the mark sheet for future reference.

Please note that these prints are for reference purposes only. Students are requested to collect their mark sheets and other certificates for Punjab Board SSC Result 2018 from their respective schools or institutes.

About the board -

The Punjab School Education Board came into existence through a legislative enactment in November 1969 for the development and promotion of school education in the state of Punjab. In 1987, the Vidhan Sabha amended the Board’s Act to grant it autonomy. The scope of Board’s functions is very wide and covers almost every aspect/stage of school education. However, a brief account of functions, structure and activities of the Board is enumerated as below:

Functions Of The Board

  1. To make necessary arrangements for smooth conduct of public examination at school level .At present the Board conducts public examinations at Middle, Matriculation and Senior Secondary Level.
  2. To prescribe the curriculum, courses of studies and text books for school education. The Board has a full- fledged academic wing, having subject experts in all the major subjects. The main responsibility of this wing is to prepare and revise the syllabuses regularly and then prepare text books accordingly.
  3. To arrange for the preparations, compilation, improvement, publication, printing and sale of text books.
  4. To make necessary arrangements for affiliations of schools to the Board.
  5. To make efforts to bring about qualitative improvement in school education.
  6. To act as an advisory body to the state Govt. regarding School Education. this Act.
