More than 13 lakh students appeared for the CBSE 10th X Board this year.

The Class 10th results 2015 for Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) are expected to be declared shortly.
The results were earlier scheduled to be announced on May 27, Wednesday. But due to unknown reasons, they were postponed for Thursday.
More than 13 lakh students appeared for the CBSE 10th X Board this year. Out of these 13 lakh, 8,17,941 were boys and 5,55,912 were girls.
The CBSE Board Results 2015 were held in March between 2nd to 26th.
The CBSE Class 12 HSC exams were announced on the 25 this of this month.
There will be post-result counselling for the students, It will be made available to students from today itself. The counselling will go on till June 8. The toll-free number for this is – 1800118004.
Central Board of Secondary Education is a Central Board of Education in India. The Board was established in 1962 under the Ministry of Human Resource Development. Both private and public schools are affiliated under the Board which offers board exams for the 10th and 12th classes every year.
Last year, the CBSE board class 10th result was declared in phases i.e. May 19: Chennai and Trivandrum, May 20: Other regions i.e. Ajmer, Allahabad, Bhubaneshwar, Panchkula, Patna, Guwahati, Delhi and Dehradun.
Students can access results via CBSE's Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS). Students can call (011) 24300699 or (011) 28127030. The call charges are 30 paise per minute.
Students can also check their results on official websites. Students will have to enter their roll number and date of birth to access their results on the official websites.
