CBSE Class 12 results: Cuttack toppers share success secrets

Around 10,000 students across Odisha had appeared for the board examinations this year; and students across the Cuttack city have done exceptionally well in the Science, Commerce and Humanities stream.

While talking to iamin, some of the toppers from the silver city shared their success stories:

Adyasha Nanda, 96.2 percent Commerce, Kendriya Vidalaya No.1

Adyasha says she owes her success to his parents and teachers. “I consider myself lucky that I have supportive parents. Teachers in school were also very helpful. We all received individual attention which proved to be beneficial for all of us,” she told iamin.

Sharing her success mantra, she said hard work is the key to success. “I used to study at least 8 to 9 hours days before exam,” she mentioned. Talking about her future plans, Adyasha said she wants to pursue Law.

Ankita Mishra, 95.4 percent, Science, Kendriya Vidalaya No.1

For Ankita, regular efforts and hard work in the past year has played a pivotal role in paving the way for her success. Ankita wants to become a doctor and serve the needy. “I used to dedicate 12 hours a day. I want to study Medicine from a renowned medical college,” she asserted.

Chetna Mohapatra, 97.2 percent, Science stream, DAV School, CDA Cuttack

“I do not believe in last minute preparation. A student must be disciplined. Without a disciplined approach, it is very difficult to concentrate. Dedicated efforts for four to five hours everyday is good enough for the CBSE exams,” highlights Chetna, who wishes to pursue medical science.

Ankit Dhanuka, 96.2 percent, Commerce stream, DAV School, CDA Cuttack

“Regular studies and revision helped me score well. Further, teachers in school were really helpful and pushed us to do our best. Although I studied consistently, I made it a point to take recreation breaks to keep my mind fresh,” he shares. Ankit wishes to become a chartered accountant.

Shrohan Mohapatra, 95 percent, Science, Delhi Public School Kalinga, Pulnakhara

“It was difficult to concentrate because my dad was ill at that time. But my parents have been my constant support. My hard work and everyone’s support helped me overcome all barriers,” shares Shrohan, who aims to crack IIT entrance.

Tanisha Mishra, 97.2 percent, Commerce stream, Delhi Public School Kalinga, Pulnakhara

“I expected 95 per cent but a higher percentage sure delighted me. Regularity and sincerity is the key to success in the board examinations. I was never a bookworm and could not study for more than six to seven hours a day. I do not believe in memorisng anything. For me it’s important to go into the depth of the subject concerned and getting the base clear.” says Tanisha who wishes to become a Chartered Accountant.
